Basic asset protection agreement (BAPA) received from Network Rail

We have now received a new basic asset protection agreement (BAPA) from Network Rail. Our project is being considered as a non-recoverable community project, therefore no fee is incurred.

We need public liability insurance to be in place before we are able to sign on the dotted line. We have contacted two organisations regarding this.

In the meantime, our team will scrutinise the BAPA and sign it off once the insurance is in place.

I suspect we won’t have an update until at least January.
