I am pleased to announce that the stage 2 documentation for the REPF grant, which aims to increase facilities in rural areas, has now been submitted to the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk.
I can now share a cost breakdown:
- Running in board (platform sign): £2,490
- New water connection: £6,523
- New electricity connection: £6,985
- Plastering, ceiling, rendering, baton/boarding: £10,475
- Electrical fittings, cables, switches (interior and exterior): £3,101.04
- Lamp post toppers x3: £434.97
Grant request to REPF grant request: £18,179.01
Grant request to Railway Heritage Trust (match-funder): £11,830
Railway Heritage Trust have agreed to support phase 2 (the above listed works), subject to the condition that we secure a lease of the station site and that stage 1 (canopy, roof works) have been completed.
We should hear an outcome on the REPF grant by the end of August and I will update everyone when I hear more.
